There are many contentious issues between South Korea and Japan right now such as the issue of comfort women, issue of Takeshima Island, issue regarding forceful recruitment of South Korean laborers during WWII, South Korea’s claim for a different name for Sea of Japan, problem of a Sankei Newspaper journalist to be prohibited to leave South Korea, vandalism by South Koreans in Tsushima Island including the theft of Buddha’s images there, exporting of prostitutes to Japan, etc.  Reuters reported on 6 Dec. that there is a possibility that some venues of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games may be moved to Japan from Pyeongchang, South Korea.  It is so ridiculous to help South Korea while there are so many groundless complaints by South Korean people or the government and so many problems existing between the two nations.   

 As far as the problem of comfort women is concerned, they first built the comfort woman statute near the Japanese Embassy in Seoul, which is a violation of the Vienna Convention.  Now they moved their propaganda to the U.S. where they have been building comfort women statutes and monuments one after another despite the requests by the Japanese government for their removal, and they have been spreading the false accusation that the comfort women were sex slaves. The Korean government including President Park herself is spreading this lie to all over the world and making every effort to damage the reputation of Japan.

 As for the problem of Takeshima Island, the Syngman Rhee Line was declared during the confusion shortly after WWII and arbitrarily included Takeshima Island as Korean territory.  After the declaration, they seized Japanese fishing boats, arrested many fishermen and used them in exchange for the release of Korean terrorists.  Many fishermen were even killed by crossing the line, which was illegally set up by President Syngman Rhee. Former Korean President, Lee Myung-bak, even demanded that the Japanese Emperor should kneel on the ground and apologize to the Korean victims of WWII if he wants to visit South Korea when there was not even a plan for such a visit. 

Also, Japanese people haven’t forgotten what the Korean people and government did during the Japanese campaign for bringing the 2020 Olympic Games to Tokyo.  They obstructed the Japanese campaign effort by banning the import of Japanese marine products and spreading the rumor that those products were polluted by radiation.

 They even enacted a Special Law and have confiscated properties from Koreans whose ancestors collaborated with Japanese in the past.  They have been oppressing pro-Japanese Koreans in the name of this Special Law commonly called “Crime against Pro-Japanese” or “Law against Pro-Japanese,” a kind of law unheard of in any democratic nation. 

The former head of the Seoul Bureau of Sankei Newspaper, Mr. Kato, had his passport confiscated by Korean authorities and was prohibited to leave the country.  The Korean government severely violated freedom of speech and freedom of reporting.

Looking back at the World Cup cosponsored by Japan and South Korea, I can think of many unfair behaviors by South Koreans such as bribery of judges, rough plays, etc., which were far from sportsmanship and were criticized by many countries.

During the Miss Asia Pacific International held in South Korea, some participants were coerced to have sexual relations with judges, and if they refused such sexual relations, they were deprived of awards.  How awful!

 A spokesman who accompanied President Park for a visit to the U.S. sexually assaulted a young woman working as an intern.

 They designated Ahn Jung-geun, who assassinated Prime Minister Hirobumi Ito, as a national hero and constructed a memorial hall and statute honoring Ahn even in China. 

As a Japanese I strongly object to holding some venues of the Pyeongchang Olympic Games here in Japan, especially since the Korean people and government are making every effort to damage our reputation and have been engaging in many condemnable behaviors all over the world. 

There is a rumor that Korea is facing financial crisis right now and trying to get some financial support from Japan by trying to get their Olympic Games cohosted by both South Korea and Japan.  

 As a Japanese, I cannot ignore those behaviors by the Korean people and government and strongly object to any cooperation for the Olympic Winter Games.

 The Korean people and government should apologize to the Japanese government and people as well as to the international society for their falsified accusations and become a true democratic society.  Only then should we render the help they need. 

 慰安婦問題、竹島問題、強制連行問題、日本海表記問題、産経新聞記者軟禁問題、対馬問題、仏像問題、売春婦輸出問題等、韓国政府及び民間が、日本に対して様々な難癖を付けてきているにも関わらず、2014年の冬季オリンピック平昌大会の一部競技を日本で行う可能性がある事を2014年12月6日付けのロイターのニュースで知りました。

慰安婦問題では、ウイーン条約に違反すると考えられる在韓日本国大使館周辺への慰安婦像の建立、米国では、日本政府も撤去を求めている慰安婦の碑や慰安婦像を建立し、「性奴隷」などと、でっち上げ、朴大統領を初めとする韓国政府も、世界中に嘘を振りまき、竹島問題では、大東亜戦争後のどさくさで勝手に李承晩ラインを引き、日本の漁船を拿捕、漁民を拘留、虐殺したテロ・人質外交を行い、韓国の前政権では、我が国天皇に対して、土下座し謝罪するように求め、大東亜戦争中に朝鮮人を強制徴用したなどと様々な嘘の歴史を作り上げ、現在の朴大統領は、告げ口外交を行い日本を貶め続けております。

2020年の東京開催のオリンピック招致の際に、日本の海産物を輸入禁止にし、放射能汚染されているかの如きプロパガンダを垂れ流し、政府ぐるみで散々、妨害をした事を日本国民は忘れていません。

遡及法（事後法）を作る事により、過去に日本に協力した祖先をもつ韓国人の財産を国が没収すると言ういわゆる「親日罪」「親日法」と言われる民主主義国家ではあり得ない法律で、弾圧行為が行われています。

産経新聞の元ソウル支局長の加藤氏も、パスポートを取り上げられたまま、いまだに自宅軟禁状態が続いています。韓国政府は、言論の自由、報道の自由を著しく毀損しています。

日韓共催のワールドカップを振り返っても、審判の買収、ラフプレーなど、およそ、スポーツマンシップとはかけ離れた行為の連続で、世界中の非難を浴びました。

ミス・アジアパシフィック大会では、参加の女性達に対して、審査員との性的関係を強要し、断ると、「賞を剥奪」すると言う蛮行を行っています。

朴大統領が訪米の際に同行した大統領報道官は、米国のインターンの女性にセクハラ行為を行いました。

伊藤博文総理を暗殺した安重根を国民的英雄とし、安重根記念館や銅像を中国にまで作ったりしています。

その他にも日本にとどまらず、世界各国で様々な蛮行を行っている韓国との一部とは言え、平昌オリンピックの競技を日本国内で行うことに韓国から貶められ続けている日本国民として、絶対に反対いたします。

現在、韓国は経済的にも危機に瀕しており、その開催費用の一部を日本から共催を理由に引き出そうとしている事も聞こえてきています。

日本国民の感情として、これらの多くの韓国政府や韓国人による蛮行を見過ごすことはできず、平昌オリンピックへの一切の協力、支援、競技地の提供に反対します。

まず、韓国政府は、日本政府と日本国民に謝罪し、国際社会に対しても、様々な捏造をしている事を謝罪して、名実ともに民主主義国家として認められる国になってから、協力の要請をするべきです。
