    Flawless, Fun & Family Friendly

by Melz on 3/4/23Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts (fka Duke Energy) - Raleigh

Fun & family friendly event. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the acts and children from K-12. Narrators did an awesome job as well. Transitions were outstanding and I can see participants worked really hard and they were enjoying themselves. I can't wait to return for more joyful noises.

I enjoyed every single student who performed in the show. My child was a participant and she enjoyed the high school students dance performance as well as I. I love seeing the creativity each school showcased and I can’t wait to attend next year!

Fabulous Talents in Arts of All Kinds!

by DramaMamax4 on 3/5/22Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

The young people of Wake County do not disappoint! I love that so many kids of a variety of ages and talent and experience levels have the opportunity to share their many talents in front of a supportive, large, enthusiastic audience. The hosts kept things moving along at a nice pace, although the tribute to the admittedly fantastic, inspired, dedicated creator of Pieces of Gold, etc took what I felt was an unnecessarily large chunk of time. The staff members at Raleigh Memorial were all helpful, efficient, and friendly from beginning to end. My only issue was that the Ticketmaster website did not inform me before my purchase that the seat I chose had an impossibly obstructed view. When I called the Box Office to ask about it, the person who answered the phone confidently told me that the only possible obstruction might be a rail across the front; her description was woefully wrong. There’s an actual partial wall along the side of that seat that completely blocks at least half of the stage. Section M, Row A, Seat 12 should not even be sold as a seat, much less for the same price as all others in that same area and price range. Luckily, there were some yet unsold seats and I was able to change my location so that I could fully see all the shared performances.

    Excellence!

by MusicTeacher on 3/7/20Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

The event was amazing. What talent we have in Wake County. Music teachers work extremely hard every day, putting in long hours to get their kids to this level. It’s a tremendous amount of stress and pressure but oh so worth it. The most frustrating part of this event was the sound. Many times the groups could not be heard and the accompanying music was so loud it drowned out the performers. Many cues were missed. The event itself was enjoyed by many and I look forward to next year!
