Discharge of firearm, Redbank

Police are investigating after three shots were fired outside a house in Redbank this morning.

The incident occurred around 10.00am at a house on Spencer Street at which time three shots were fired.

It is understood that two men approached the rear of the house at which time they were confronted by a 37-year-old male occupant of the house.

After a brief conversation, one of the two men discharged a firearm three times.

The men then fled through the back yard of a Law Street address to a vehicle parked at a nearby business before driving away, onto the Ipswich Motorway towards Ipswich.

Police are searching for a white Nissan Patrol (pictured below) seen leaving the area at the time of the incident.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Police are asking for anyone who heard the shots, saw the vehicle or witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
