Leftys Drive In

Have been coming up since 1976 every year and permanently moved up in 2008. We had never tried the Drive-In just the restaurant. Big mistake on our part not that the restaurant isn't good also. Decided to give the Drive-In a try and ordered a chocolate malt. Wow! Haven't had one so good since we were kids.

We have a summer cottage in Caseville and try to always eat lunch at Lefty's Drive In on Wednesdays. They have a delicious fat and juicy cheeseburger that sells for $1.99. Their cole slaw is outstanding.

This drive-in is indeed open (in Bay Port, not the Caseville location, although that one is also open). We stopped yesterday on the way out of town after a camping trip. Ordered cheeseburgers, fried pickles and onion rings to share and a chocolate malt. Complete deep-fried deliciousness. Everything was hot and fresh and the portions were generous. We couldn't finish the pickles or onion rings, even though we really wanted to. The batter was fantastic! If we are in the thumb again, we will certainly be paying a visit to Lefty's! Very good drive-in. Very friendly. Coney dog and fried mushrooms were great. The chicken fajita was larger than expected and tasted great! Will be back!

Decided to take a drive to caseville last night. Stopped at leftys, wow! New remodel looks great! Still has classic look. Had a burger and onion rings. Really good! Service was good. Glad I stopped!
