How could someone so pure want filth like him?

Damon Comb was no stranger to pain, hunger, loneliness, and abandonment. Being given a family that would die for one another didn’t erase six years of torture. It didn’t take away the nightmares. She did. She was everything someone like him should never be allowed. She was goodness and strength and she made him human.

How could someone so broken complete her?

Willa McClain had it all, a family that adored each other, the love of an entire town and a future she worked her butt off to get. But all she wanted was the boy with the sad blue eyes and the crooked smile. He was her best friend, her protector and the only one who really understood her.

How could a love like theirs be extinguished?

But nothing ever lasted forever. Damon knew better than anyone how quickly the tides could change. Can he keep his past at bay before it consumes the only light in his dark world? Can he finally tell Willa the truth, or will his fears tear them apart forever?

How could love so strong ever fail?

This book is NA and intended for a mature audience.

My god. This book was.... Perfect!! I felt like the author entered into my brain... Took a hike, and wrote the book just for me!! Lol. Damon was the BEST book boyfriend out there. Seriously. This two had a love story people write fairytales about. They knew each other since they were little kids... And two decades after, they were still inseparable and each other world. It was endearing to read how they were each other firsts - and LAST. Both of them were NEVER involved with outsiders. They had eyes only for each other from the day they met at the age of six. I could do without the drama towards the end... I felt like it was drama for the sake of drama. I felt like I was robbed from more time with this two. Seriously ! I didn't want the book to end. It was THAT good. I have a feeling I'm heading towards a book hangover ;P

For my safety gang ladies - The book is completely safe and I highly recommend it :D

I truly loved this story, Damon will make your heart skip a beat. If you’re looking for a sweet, sexy and wonderful read, then this book is for you.

Damon and Willa have been best friends since they were kids and they've been in love for probably the same amount of time. Everyone is pretty much convinced the two of them are together! They worship each other but don’t express their secret feelings of true love and attraction out of fear of a possible rejection.

Neither knows how the other feels, and they're both awkward and adorable. The best scenario would be that the feeling is mutual. But, the worst case would be the turbulence of their friendship. When they finally confess their love to each other, they get to experience kissing, making love and pleasing each other for the first time. Being both virgins, they explore their sexuality together and learn each other's bodies and turn ons/offs.

All in all, it’s a sweet story with interesting characters, chemistry abound and the kind of romance that brings a smile to your face. A little predictable, but was well written and heartwarming. The writing was smooth, the chemistry between Damon and Willa was evident from the beginning, and the buildup of tension between them was amazing.

If you are looking for something light and fun, this is a must!

Spoilers ahead

Ok I started book 1 and quit because I hated that they chose to lie to him regardless of their good intentions
I avoided book 2 like the plague because it doesn't matter that it was a one time thing the fact remains he now had a child with his brother's wife
I started book 3 and couldn't forgive him for having sex with his girlfriend, it doesn't matter how much his h said no he loved her so much I wanted him to wait forever if needed lol

Which brings me to this book
In all the previous books one thing was clear- Willa and Damon LOVED each other. We begin with them sharing an apartment but basically sleeping together every night....they acted like a married couple without the sex....which made the first parts if this book really difficult for me....they both denied their feelings for each other, claiming that the other person just saw them as a friend. That was the most unrealistic thought EVER!!! They'd never even thought of dating anyone else, they were always together and very very clearly loved each other. It made the first parts of the book unfortunately eye roll worthy. When they DID finally get together it was as cute and sweet as I expected. Damon's horrible father added some drama and suspense to what was unfortunately a bit of a slow read.
As a ROMANCE reader however I'll ALWAYS want my mcs to be THIS devoted, especially my H so for that reason I'm going with a much higher rating than I actually would've given this book.(2.5* to 4*)

My review:

This was a very cute story and one of my favorites of the series so far. I adored Damon and Willa in all of the stories so far. You couldn't help but feel their love for each other because they legitimately HAVE loved each other for like 20 years. Since they first met. Damon was a great hero, in that he WAITED for her. He waited years. He didn't sleep with other woman while "waiting" for her, he truly was faithful to her in every which way. Their relationship proved that you don't need sex to love each other and to show that love.

Why not 5 stars? Honestly, the fact that they were both virgins, finally have sex and don't go at it like bunnies was a bit odd to me. I know I am not in the minority here, but I remember when I first had sex around that age, I wanted to have sex all the time AND not to mention, these two already lived together and all LOL. And I don't know ... I felt like I wanted more. But overall it was a fantastic read and it definitely did to have ANY of my triggers, w which was nice! ;)

I absolutely love that both were virgins, and have not only known one another since they were kids, but also that they've only wanted each other. Neither have ever done anything with anyone else, and I have to say that's very refreshing because I am so tired of "I want her, I love her, but don't think I can have her, so I'll bang any and every woman I can." That did not happen here at all. Damon wanted Willa and only Willa. He never thought about being with anyone else, and the same for Willa.

Also, the suspense was interesting. I liked how it all tied together, and that we get two different epilogues, one within months, and then years later.

Now, with all that goodness being said, I just couldn't get as invested as I felt I normally would with an absolutely safe story. I truly think this is a case of 'it's me, not you.' Which means I could read it again in three days and adore it. We've all been there though, I'm sure.

I do highly recommend the book. It had everything a reader, especially one concerned with safety, could want. It was sweet, sexy, funny, the main characters have only ever been with one another, we see their friendship and the glimpses of more, before they act on it, and I liked that. It shows how deep their connection truly is, and the author did a good job of conveying their bond, both as best friends and lovers.

This was sooo good! Damon was a dream! The perfect book boyfriend in my eyes. He worships the ground Willa walks on and has stayed a virgin at 25 years old because he was waiting for her! How perfect is that? I loved that their relationship didn't have much drama in it and you never doubted their love for each other. I never had to worry about ow getting in between them or any cheating from either of them. I love it when I don't have to worry about the commitment the H/h have for each other. Books where the the H/h are each others firsts and lasts are rare and this was such a great surprise!

I have to take half a star off because the drama towards the end was just so cliche and I wish it hadn't been there. But otherwise this book was great! I want more heros like Damon!!

"That’s all I ever wanted, for her to love me”

"I love her. I’ve loved her since I was six. She’s been my whole world for nineteen years and that will never change. Even as a kid, I wanted to be the kind of man that would treat her the way she deserved, the kind that would be reliable and … and she could love, because that’s all I ever wanted, for her to love me. Because I knew that if I had that, if I had that part of her, I would never be lost again.” -Damon

Oh, my sweet tortured, vulnerable Damon. This guy is so in love with Willa, it's all consuming.
I enjoyed this book so very much. No one and nothing meant as much to him as Willa did. Everything he did since he was a little boy, was for her.
-dual virgins, each others one and only
-dual POV
-no cheating
-no OM/OW drama
-possible triggers - child abuse, kidnapping, panic attacks
-LOVED how he loved her
-epilogue at 5 years
This was a long and very emotional book but so very good. I highly recommend.

It was ok.

Double virgin story.
Known/loved each other from age 6.
Both afraid to tell each other.
Some kidnapping to add intrigue.
Willa was very emotional and wore her heart on her sleeve.
Damon was alpha but a bit too pushy and prone to angry outbursts, towards everyone including Willa.

The stalker in this story is actually an evil villain. I loved this slow moving love that grew over time. It was emotional when needed and sweet. I enjoyed it so much but I know most would say not enough sex but for me it was more then enough. Also, I thought their sex was very realist. First times are often awkward and not everyone gets an orgasm! It's hard to find your rhythm sexually and I find its just unrealistic that everything is always awesome. It's hard to describe but it felt like I was part of their lives and I enjoyed their family. It was fun and I will read this one again.
5 stars for sweet honest and passionate loving.
Btw they are both virgins. Awesome.

I really loved this book. The relationship between Damon and Willa was so sweet. And I adored that they were each others firsts for everything! I loved that! I was wishing for more sexy times though- it didn't seem realistic that 23 and 25 year old virgins wouldn't be tearing up the sheets every chance they got. The drama portion was so so- the book would have been lovely without it. I also loved the epilogue. Safety gang safe

Ever since Airicka threw hints about the relationship between Willa and Damon in Be My Baby (Calla and Jared's story), I have been in love with them. So, I was uber excited to have the opportunity to dive into Always Yours, Baby. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

Willa and Damon have been together - well, almost forever. Since they were 4 and 6 (respectively). They've grown up together, learned things together, and have been inseparable. Everyone has "assumed" that they're a couple. Everyone, that is, except Willa and Damon. They've never really crossed that line. They share a house, sleep in the same bed, cuddle, and do all the things that couples do...except be a couple. Share those intimate moments.

In a series of planned events, Willa and Damon are forced into an opportunity to pursue and experience that couple kind of LOVE together. Airicka writes their story in a way that is beautiful and captures the innocence and sweetness that IS Willa and Damon. Damon absolutely cherishes and worships Willa and vice versa. They honestly can't survive without each other. WHO DOESN'T WANT THAT??!! Every breathing person wants that kind of love.

And, of course, in true Airicka fashion - it's not all sunshine and roses for Willa and Damon. There's definitely a bit of "suspense" - and I'll just say, it's where you least expect it.

When it's all said and done, Always Yours, Baby, will leave you absolutely in love with Willa and Damon and their story. Beautifully written...you won't be able to put it down. Five amazing stars!!!

Amazing frickin book! I loved their relationship and loved the fact that they were both so in love with each other their whole lives that they never looked at anyone else. I need more books like these! The hero was perfect and the heroine was adorable.

Triggers and safety warnings:
- Attempted rape of h
- Child abuse on and off page
- No cheating or OW/OM drama at all (I thought it was heading that way once but thank God I was completely wrong)
- Surprise pregnancy but not unwanted

4.5 Loved It Stars!

Review by Lisa Kane

Willa is the daughter of Lily and Sloan McClain and Damon Comb is the adoptive son of Cole and Beth McClain. Damon spent the first 6 years of his life severely abused and neglected by his father. Those memories still haunt him and he has never really believed he is worthy of love. He works for Sloan at his furniture moving business, but he's smart and excelled at math in college. He just hasn't figured out what he wants to do next. But the thing he has never questioned is his love for Willa.

He has loved that girl since the first time he laid eyes on her. They are the best of friends and have been inseparable.

But both are hiding something from the other. The love they have is more than a best friend kind of love, but neither one wants to be the one to say it out loud. What if this changes everything? What if the other doesn't feel the same way? That pain would kill them and their lives would never be the same. No matter that Calla, Willa's half sister (her father is Cole and her mother is Lilly) and her husband Jared (Damon's best friend) have been telling them for years to just admit their feelings and get on with their lives.

Damon is 25 and Willa is 23, both have finished college and are living with each other. Both are still virgins. I know you just read this sentence again and said...ok..maybe Willa you can believe that about, but Damon? If you've read the series, then you know he is all about Willa. Only Willa. Other girls never interested him. Even when his closest friends were screwing around, Damon had no interest. It would be Willa or no other.

Breaking down their barriers is easier said than done. Damon agrees to one of Jared's stupid ideas to see if Willa would agree to date another guy. Just to see if she's all about Damon. Once he agrees, he knows this isn't going to be a good thing.

"But what if you'd said yes?"
Voicing his fears to anyone else would have mortified him. But she knew them all as closely as he did. She had held him through the nightmares, had wiped his tears, and promised never to let anyone hurt him again. He hadn't cried or had a nightmare in years, but he knew it was only because she was always close by.
"Then I guess you would have had to challenge Michael to a duel in my honor."

And once the do admit how they really feel about each other, taking the next step isn't as easy as one would seem.

What kind of guy in his mid-twenties had never had sex or even kissed a girl? What kind of guy waited for one girl his entire life? And what the hell would he have done if she'd turned him down? What girl would want someone so inexperienced?

But admitting their love and giving in to their feelings should complete their life right? But what happens when Damon's nightmares come back? When the past he thinks is past isn't?

He didn't belong with them anymore. He couldn't look at them knowing that all of this was his fault. He couldn't bring himself to meet Sloan's eyes, not when there was a resentment there.

I adore this series. The first two stories were about Lily and Sloan and then Beth and Cole. The next one was Jared and Calla's and now Damon and Willa's. Toby's (Beth and Cole's son) will be the last of the series, but I keep hoping that Ms. Phoenix will continue it. Maybe the grand babies' stories?

"Why?"
"Because you saw me when no one else did."

Book was annoying af!!
The female was 23 acting like 10, she even has to be fed and made her wear the night dress like parents do to their children who still aren't good with changing of clothes.

She's a spoiled brat and giggles at every freaking sentence the male says 😑 , and agai, she was annoying. She loves photography and shit but wants to open a shop or something (cause I don't even remember) which was good if not only to copy her aunt and parents owning their own shops.

The male was controlling Asshole who had to know where the female is at every hour so he would be calling or messaging her every hour.

The another annoying characters was her sister. The nosy bitch who is with a child and husband but instead of taking care of them and the the whatever shop they own, she has her nose in the leads business. It was as if she was the third main character here. Even if her character was positive, she was annoying Bitch.

The book is too slow and filled with second hand embarrassment, that I literally had to keep the phone down at every act they both used to do.

Like they get in relationship because her dear sister sets up something and the female being child she is gets scared and is on the verge of dying thinking the male is about to propose her to marry which he doesn't (should've dude, she would atleast be dead) but anyway he says some lovely Shit to her and she's full on swooning and tears prickl her eyes and she was again behaving like a child.

Anyway, they were together for more like 20 years but never kissed, but as soon as they confess to each other, maybe at chapter 4 or 5, they start making out the next morning and when the male hits an orgas* he feels guilty cause he didn't let his baby girl (heroine) have an orgas* first😶 . Dude if you love her and she loves you, who the Fuck cares if you have orgas* before her???

And this review up there ☝ is only from 8 chapters I've read. I won't be reading the book again 😰 It was deadly experience as it is.
Peace.

REVIEW:
Be still my heart! This story was so sweet and romantic, the couple was so meant to be I couldn’t wait until they finally confessed their feelings. This is the 4th book in the Baby Saga series, I haven’t read the other three but I never felt lost or disconnected to the characters and setting. This is a story that will hit all the sweet spots and make you fall in love with Damon and Willa.

Damon and Willa are childhood friends, have always done everything together and everyone around them can see how much they are meant to be together. But both were afraid that confessing had the chance it could ruin their deep friendship. I loved this couples innocents, both waited for the right person, which I find very rare in book to have the main couple be virgins. It was refreshing and so sweet to see their relationship progress and they start to learn what love and devotion truly mean.

Willa is a very adoring person and she sees the positive in everyone. She is a little immature at times as she was a bit afraid of things and kind of a free spirit. Damon needs her positivity in his life because of his terrible and abusive upbringing. Together they are a strong pair and I adored every moment they had together, from awkward first experiences to more passionate moments.

Overall I loved the chemistry and relationship growth of Damon and Willa. They each had their flaws but I adored Damon’s love, how he waited years for her and was so attentive to her. Pretty much Damon is the ideal guy, for me he’s not realistic but defiantly the best dream guy for readers. The writing was well paced an you can really tell how much she cares for her characters, there is a lot of feelings going into this story. I’m definitely a new fan and really cant wait to back track and read the past books in this series.

Always Yours, Baby (Damon & Willa) (The Baby Saga Book 4)
http://amzn.to/1MYhqUY
By Airicka Phoenix

Damon and Willa have been in love since before they even knew what those words meant. Nineteen years is a long time to love someone without knowing if they love you in return. Damon is afraid to tell Willa because he doesn’t want to taint her with his past. He doesn’t think someone so kind; an innocent could love someone who came from dirt.

Willa has been drawn to Damon since the moment he was brought home. She’s never once been afraid of him while the same could not be said for the rest of their school mates. She’d kept her feelings for him hidden afraid he wouldn’t feel the same about her, that it would ruin the friendship they’d had all those years. When they get tricked into revealing their feelings and things heat up until Damon’s past comes back to haunt them once again.

Airicka Phoenix I both love and hate you right now. This book made me ugly cry making me instantly want to hate the author, then I loved her for making me fall so far into her story once again. You can’t help falling in love with these characters; Damon and Willa are like that couple you always wanted to be. They love without ending, with complete abandonment. It’s magical the way Damon is with Willa, you want that to be you and that high school crush you had, and how you hope your own daughter finds her true love.

Without giving too much away I will say that Airicka makes her antagonists very hate worthy. You want to reach through the book and claw someone’s eyes out for even thinking of harming these characters. I wanted to hold these characters along with their parents and never let them go. I can’t wait till the next in the series comes out, these characters are like family now I can’t just leave them to their own devices, I must know what happens to them all.

It was similar to the book before it. I wonder, do the McClains not teach their children about birth control at all? The first two books in the series were the parents' stories, and I gather from the two I read that some accidental conception happened as well in at least one of those. It seems to me preaching about birth control would be taught. But no, in Be My Baby, Calla a had two pregnancies, the first presumably and the second definitely without protection. In this book, Willa and Damon start off their sexual relationship, the first time for both of them, with nothing. Then both sisters are SURPRISED they actually get pregnant? Dumbasses.

Secondly, it's yet another book I've read about abusive parents coming back to further torture their kids in adulthood. It's a theme lately (but not as bad as the flood of stepbrother romances, icky).

That aside, the book flows nicely. The characters are likable; the love is believable. So really my lower rating is from my personal things I probably should just suck up and get over.

I haven't read the previous books in this series so I am not well acquainted with the characters so I think the enjoyment level would have been higher if I had read the previous books. While I say that It can be read as a standalone but like me, you probably won't care about the family dynamics as much as other readers would. I mainly wanted the author to focus on just the H and h but it was laced in with the family and all their stuff and ugh.
While it was an okay, I couldn't help but feel things were a bit rushed and again, I feel the author should have focused more on the H and h's relationship-maybe showed us flashbacks of them growing up together and I probably would have felt more for them as characters then I did.

I've been waiting patiently for Willa and Damon's story ever since I read about them in previous books. They are probably my fave couple. There is also a frightening element to the story that sees the return of Damon's waste of space father. No one should ever have to experience what Damon and Charlotte go through. Domestic violence happens a lot, too much and it is a subject no one wants to talk about let alone read about. I applaud Airicka for adding that element in there. This saga is real, raw, emotional and heartwarming all at the same time. You can't help but fall in love with the Mclain's as if they are your own family.
