Hillary Clinton Slices Michael Flynn With Hot ‘Pizzagate’ Burn

Clinton seems to believe revenge is a dish best served late on Twitter

Hillary Clinton took a little over 30 minutes to dish out a diss at Michael T. Flynn after his resignation Monday, but it was still pretty hot. At least if you remember the details of the bizarre fake news story known as Pizzagate.

Clinton celebrated Flynn’s embarrassing exit as President Trump’s national security adviser by reminding him of the time his son accused her of running a child sex ring out of a Washington, D.C., pizza shop.

Pizzagate culminated in a man entering the pizzeria — Comet Ping Pong — and firing a gun. He reportedly told police he wanted to personally investigate online claims that it was the home of a pedophilia ring that involved Clinton and one of her aides, John Podesta.

After the incident, Flynn’s son, Michael G. Flynn, tweeted: “Until #Pizzagate proven false, it’ll remain a story. The left seems to forget #PodestaEmails and the many ‘coincidences’ tied to it.”

As a result, he lost his job with the Trump transition team on Dec. 6.

Two days later, Clinton said Pizzagate proved that “fake news can have real-world consequences,” and that “lives are at risk.”

The elder Flynn subsequently deleted another fake news story about Clinton from his Twitter feed, one that falsely claimed the FBI had evidence “to put Hillary and her crew away for life.”

Soon after, Flynn made another error in judgment — one that didn’t involve Twitter. He stepped down Monday after admitting that he had given “incomplete information” to Vice President Mike Pence and others about a telephone call he shared with the Russian ambassador in late December.

After midnight ET, Clinton responded by retweeting a message from Philippe Reines, one of her former advisers. “Philippe’s got his own way of saying things, but he has a point about the real consequences of fake news.”

Reines’ “way of saying things” was burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth blistering.

“Dear Mike Flynn & Mike Flynn Jr., what goes around COMETS around. And given your pizza obsession…”

He then posted a link to Dominos’ jobs page, and signed it, “xo Philippe.”

How did he get so good at insults? Maybe by playing Trump in Clinton’s debate preparation.
