Bluetooth compatibility lets you connect the inReach Explorer to most smartphones and tablets. This connectivity helps you plan routes online ahead of time. It also connects you to social media sites so all your friends can follow your every adventure. Its battery can last up to one hundred hours, and you can recharge it via the micro USB port or the solar charger. Its housing resists impacts and stays waterproof in 1 meter of water for thirty minutes.
