In 2013, Westminster Council did a public consultation on proposals for an extension to the Belgravia Conservation Area.   The proposals included a terrace of shops - 87-107 Pimlico Road (Part A on the 2013 boundary map).   No decision was made and the proposals have been dropped.   87-107 Pimlico Road is now at risk of development and probable demolition owing to the current construction in progress on the former Chelsea barracks site.   We want to protect this terrace.  It is a wonderful example of its type and a valuable contribution to the local architecture, street scene and community.   It provides retail space and accommodation above.   Extending the Belgravia Conservation Area to include 87-107 Pimlico Road is essential or the buildings will be lost to future development.
