    Date of birth: 22/06/1970

  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • wupps.. i think this was in the early 80´s ..
i programed some games on a Spectrum Computer.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Spectrum Sinclair - programming games and funstuff
    Commodore C20 - playing
    Commodore C64 - playing
    Schneider CPC464 - programming a word-processor (never finished)
    Amiga 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 programming intros and demos,
started using PROTRACKER, i compose many tunes for intros and some games!
Intel PC 486/ DX20 - NOTHING .. this machine was TOO slow...
Apple Macintosh Quadra 950 - sequencing in midi and doin artwork with photoshop.
Apple Macintosh e604 - also started to get into 3d-animations with CINEMA 4D, ELECTRIC IMAGE and POSER4

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • i dont end up music NEVER in my life!..

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • on amiga i used PROTRACKER and TFMX-Editor from Chris Hülsbeck!

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • i think this was pianoodle.. but dont blame me, this is very long ago.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • YES,, a former member of TRSI called NUTRIBRAIN cames someday to me a
played an old song of me.. it was some of my first work on protracker and
there was a vocalsample from myself (OK, LETS GO!) .. damn was this a
    shitty song. hehe

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The music MUST fit into atmospheric of a game or demo.. i think thats the only
WAY to get the best art out of the product.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • yeah, iam very active.. iam in a little success now on mp3.com .. i got many
songs online (32!) .. as mp3.com provides me with some payback for playback
i also earn NOW some money with my music. I would like every to join my site
and listening to my tracks, it is also possible to buy CDs. Thats enough
    commercial or? hehe

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • as i use NOW all of these music-formats i think they are great, but it was
also cool to use 8bit samples in a 4 track song. damn, must we use tricks
to get music out of the program. hehe

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • all stuff of Romeo Knight was cool and a song called Klissje pa Klissje
(dont know the right title for now, it sounds like this, hehe)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • dont really know, perhaps i should get some reaction upon this interview????
    .. who knows?

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • chicane, paul van dyk, william orbit, underworld, orbital and some others ..
i also love to listen to good unsigend stuff from mp3.com ..

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • many beer, partys and and a pumpin head. hehe .. .. hmm.. i found some cool
friends and got many inspirations for my music!

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • no, i even dont know anybody in the actual TRSI group... some dudes i met
on ICQ like Flynn, Madison and so on..

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • i would like to greet my girl and all the friends in scene i still know.
    hold on mates!
