Here are the places listed for launch of Founders the week of April 8th:

    Dallas
    Fort Worth
We have also heard that KBS will be at Untapped Festival in Fort Worth April 20th. There has also been speculation that the special release at the Moth on 4/9/13 will be KBS at 5PM.

Please add other information you find out about the local release, such as place, time, specific beers.

Tagging into this thread. I know there are a lot of them now but I like these regional threads at least in regarding to launch parties.

I know a meeting took place at the FW Saucer for their event and I've seen the pick list with KBS included...so you know come hell or high water ill be working this event and splitting some pints and snifters after. Speaking of untapped but I heard Common Table will have BA Ten Fidy for that event...NOOM NOOM

Any word on the exact date at the FW Flying Saucer? I looked at the website, facebook, and twitter, but don't see anything.

The bad news first: Founders Brewing Co. All Day IPA will not be here today due to TABC snag- but it's coming eventually. The GREAT news: instead will be tapping one of VERY few kegs of Founders Imperial Stout instead. So - Centennial IPA, Red's Rye, Dirty Bastard and Imperial Stout all tapped no later than 4:00 today. The Imperial Stout is the #28 on the ratebeer Top 50 beers in the world list, ahead of such heavy hitters as Cigar City's Marshal Zhukov, Surly Darkness and Lost Abbey's Deliverance

Shows how little those Ratebeer people know

Marshal Z blows everything from Founders that is regularly produced completely out of the freaking water and that's not an opinion..it's fact! Regardless I'd be there if I wasn't working tonight..we are tapping up Centenial whenever we blow our next keg

Happy Monday everybody!!! Its about to get happier!!! Founders Brewing is here!!! And by here we mean in our building. Starting at 4:00 this afternoon we will be selling the Centennial IPA, Dirty Bastard, Reds Rye and...... all kidding aside.....The Kentucky Breakfast Stout!!! 1 of 2 kegs that made it to the city!!! We will also have a surprise Founders beer for those lucky enough to get their hands on it. As if KBS weren't enough! Do us a favor and share this as much as possible please because Founders neglected to add us to their early release list that they sent out on Friday. We want everyone to know!!! Thanks guys!!! Following is photographic evidence of The arrival of the KBS!

Was on my way to Zio Carlos, got notice that out of 5 expected kegs, only one made it! So, I headed to The Live Oak. Got to enjoy Doom (only place that got Doom to my knowledge), Dirty Bastard and Centennial IPA. Was told their keg of All-Day IPA didn't make it.

Still befuddled over FW Saucer - As a proud plate owner I want to be at my home away from home to enjoy all these new brews that hit TX! Saucer should be tapping KBS on launch day, not Goodfriend Burger in Dallas???? Just don't get it.

The Live Oak lineup that I saw on the list (and got a flight of) was: Doom, Dirty Bastard, Centennial, Red Rye PA.
I CANT BELIEVE FTW MISSED OUT ON KBS!!!:slight_frown:

You've obviously never been to Goodfriend, otherwise you would get it. Way better than any Saucer, no offence to the Saucer guys or Noah. In fact since Meddlesome opened the Saucers really haven't had to many hard to gets like KBS.
