The more than 600-lb. woman was trapped inside her own home – until now. As part of her show Iyanla: Fix My Life, life coach Iyanla Vanzant traveled to California to help Bonnie leave her home for the hospital, where she is being treated for obesity. “Oh, fresh air! Thank you!” Bonnie cried as paramedics carried her over her front lawn, where neighbors and loved ones gathered to show their support. Currently at Pasadena Meadows Nursing Center and on a strict diet, Bonnie lost 75 lbs. in just six weeks and is able to stand for the first time in five years.
