OAKS - Grader iPad App

IMPORTANT UPDATE:  Currently the Grader App is not working with iOS version 9.2.1.  If you wish to use the app and have not updated your iPad then do not upgrade to 9.2.1.  We hope to have this issue fixed soon. (1/28/2016)

The Desire2Learn (OAKS) Assignment Grader app allows faculty to use their iPads to grade assignments and submit them directly into the OAKS Dropbox.  In addition to adding the grade and text comments, faculty can also leave an audio and/or video comment and annotate on the original submission.

You must load the Desire2Learn Assignment Grader app to your iPad.  You can find it for free in the Apple iTunes store at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/desire2learn-assignment-grader/id496587100?mt=8

Log into the App

  1. If this is your first time using the app click Log into D2L Online Courses (all others login with their Edudentity account on the right)
  2. When you open it you will be asked for the Learning Environment URL.  Type in https://lms.cofc.edu then click Connect
  3. You will then be asked to log into OAKS so just use your Cougars username and password, click Login

  5. Complete the form and click Sign Up (Note: you may be asked to log into OAKS one more time.  This is normal)

The first time you use the app you will need to sync the app with the OAKS server.  To do this click on the circular arrows in the upper right corner.  This may take a long time depending up on the number of classes, students, and assignments you have in OAKS.  (note: it is NOT downloading them to the iPad so don't worry about that)
