Where to get the good stuff this Xmas

I can't believe that its been almost a year since dismantling & selling Urban Food Market.

I've been getting a number of people contacting me asking where the best place to get Turkeys etc is this Christmas, so i thought i'd point you all in the right direct... Unfortunately not all of our previous farmers have access to retail outlets to sell you their wonderful produce so the below will ensure your Christmas feast is as good as last year.

Make sure you mention Urban Food Market when ordering so they'll look after you!

Thirlmere Poultry
If you have ever had a turkey, chicken, or duck from us over the years it's always been from John at Thirlmere Poultry.

John Meredith is in the Food Hall of Fame for his decades of commitment to the art or rearing stunning birds! Located just past Picton in outer Sydney John uses local farmers to produce these delicious birds.

Thirlmere Poultry has stalls at Everleigh Markets in Carriageworks every Saturday and also a stall every Wednesday at Fox Studios Growers Markets.

Black Forest
Smokehouse
Richard, his family and a great team smoked all of our free range bacon, ham & poultry products whilst we were neighbours in Marrickville (3 doors down from our old location) and although they don't source free range produce they are definitely worth a mention as they are the true masters in the art of smoking meats.

All of their hams are made on site in the traditional European way with just the right blend of herbs and spices.

Their Marrickville retail shop is open to the public for xmas collections.
