I bought the sims 4 and when i try to play them i can't and that message of error appears

Problem

I get the following Error Message: Unable to Start, Initialization error at startup: 135dec40:984c6a38:000000077 

Cause

• The issue is related to a corrupt Origin installation
• Also occurs if you have Origin on a different drive than Sims 4

Solution

• Reinstall Origin
  • Completely remove Origin
  • Run ccleaner to clean your registry
  • Restart your computer
  • Reinstall Origin
  • (if necessary) Reinstall Sims 4 on the same drive as Origin.
• Repair the game on Origin.
• Start the game in compatibility mode
• Start the game as administrator

Please manually uninstall Origin, then download the latest version of Origin and run the installation again. After this when starting Origin, please make sure to run it as Admin (right click Origin shortcut, go to Properties - Compatibility and tick the 'Run this program as Admin' box) and then try to run the game.

Hello,

I purchased my preordered Sims 4 game yesterday afternoon (Belgium). After installing my game wouldn't work, so I unistalled it and reinstalled it. Two times. Today it still didn't work after several times pof trying. So I opened my browser and found, what I thought was, a solution. So as EA FAQ said, I unistalled TS4 and my origin, downloaded origin and reinstalled my Sims 4 again, making it als admin. Very hopefully I tried to start te game, but still no succes: "error code [135dec40:984c6a38:00000077]". What should I do?

@celinicious Is your game and Origin installed on the same hard drive partition as Windows?

I have a map for windows and a map for Electronic Arts (in my EA map is a map for origin) on my local drive. If that is what you mean?

Sorry, I do not have great computer knowledge and to understand those technical terms in another language is a little difficult :P

@celinicious Could you please uninstall Origin again and when reinstalling please install it to the default directory: C:\Program Files (x86) or C:\Program Files. Also what Operating System are you using?

Ive tryed everything disabled AVG uniustalled and reinstalled origin, Repaired game I even updated Java nothing is happening except the same code over and over again I am sooooo angrey right now!!!!!! ;(

Okay, maybe it's that what I did wrong. I will install origin again in my C:\Program Files (x86). Thanks. I hope it will work.  I'm using Windows 8.1
