"Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" is the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot series. Set for release on May 10, 2024, this film takes audiences on a new journey into the world where apes rule and humans struggle to survive.

Meanwhile, Caesar sneaks into the Colonel's cabin to kill him, but discovers that he has already become mute after handling the doll. Unwilling to kill the Colonel himself, Caesar allows him to kill himself. The escaping apes are caught in the crossfire between the militia and the military.

A troupe of gorilla hunters attacked and Landon was knocked unconscious after falling off a hill before he and the others were swept up into the hunt, captured. The gorillas brought him back to Ape City, where he was examined and later lobotomized.

The franchise is based on French author Pierre Boulle's 1963 novel La Planète des singes, translated into English as Planet of the Apes or Monkey Planet. Its 1968 film adaptation, Planet of the Apes, was a critical and commercial hit, initiating a series of sequels, tie-ins, and derivative works.
