Bug Description

Hi,

If you change the default systray to allow all applications to use the notification area with this command:
gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']"

Mouse click (left or right) done in a component placed into the unity panel work randomly; sometime contextual menu appears, sometime not.

Best Regards,

   Pascal

Hi,

Temporary workaround is to add all applications separately. Some thing like:

gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['JavaEmbeddedFrame', 'Mumble', 'Wine', 'Skype', 'hp-systray', 'scp-dbus-service', 'banshee', 'gstm', 'blueman-manager', 'pac', 'indicator-weather', 'vuze']"

Best regards,

Marcel

Is there a mean to solve the problem without adding each application separately?

To continue using whitelist["all"] as I do as I've not been able to figure out how to get the Vuze icon in the list is to first click the calendar or Broadcast icon or Logout icon then just move the mouse over the desired icon in the Notification area. This works consistently for me.

I have test a Truecrypt problem as follow.

with gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']" the click do not work for the right systray.
with gsettings set to Default and specifying Truecrypt, the mouse click in the systray works.

Always reproductible behaviour.

For more, the Truecrypt icon is corrupt when Truecrypt is launched before or after a 20 seconds delay after login.
