what rom are you talking about? there are two versions, my friend
Thank you guys, very good input from everyone and nice ideas...
Unfortunately all my attempts gave no results... So on Saturday I took the phone to the retailer I initially bought it from.
They took it for repair (phone was bought on March 2015, so it is still under warranty). I just hope now that when it reaches Samsung they will forgive my knox status 0x1...
Of course I reflashed pure stock ROM and wipe any data before bringing it to repair... but knox 0x1 is visible in download mode as we all know...
I'll keep you informed.
They promised the phone back on Nov 29!!!
I can still produce my mods if you guys are interested but won't be able to test on my side until I get the phone back...
Are you interested in my mods if not tested? Can anyone test for me?
Cheers
How did you lose your IMEI?Samsung nightmare....
I just got an e-mail from the retailer informing me about Samsung feedback about my phone:
A/ The phone has been rooted and due to virus on the motherboard, they need to change it entirely, hence a repair cost of 250€!!!
B/ I have 3 choices from this point:
1/ Accept the repair and pay the fcuking 250€
2/ Decline the repair and leave them the phone which will be *destroyed*
3/ Decline the repair and get back the - not repaired - phone
Samsung, listen to that!
The phone has been rooted: yes
There is a virus: NO!!!
A virus requires motherboard to be replaced: NO, NO, NO!!!
Are you kidding me? You are LYING!
You are making up facts in order to frighten the regular users with bold words like "virus"!
250€ is too much.
You just need to repair IMEI; I don't care about knox, leave the current knox-ed 0x1 motherboard, you motherboarder!
*nightmare*

I don't know.
I was not flashing. I was not doing anything special.
Just switched off phone, swapped batteries and at boot, IMEI null...
My son says I removed the battery before the end of the switch-off sequence...
@Zotho
Are u using your phone at all!?
What is ur screen on time?

That sucks... Can't you find a way to disable/damage booting to download mode? I did that with an old Samsung tablet to hide the knox 0x1 and Samsung replaced it for me. But it was the old Samsungs that had the eMMC problem so it was easy to sabotage it.How did you lose your IMEI?

Agree with you totally! The service center staff is lying through his teeth! He is ruining the reputation of the product with such obvious lies.Samsung nightmare....

Don't know if I am missing something or misread something, but I cannot seem to get a LTE connection at all? Have been using this awesome ROM as my daily driver for a long time. My brother always seems to have a LTE connection in our home. Any info or help would really be appreciated?
Are you sure is turned on? "Settings-> other networks - > mobile networks -> network mode?
I don't know where you live but make sure you have activated LTE by your operator. When i was moving mu number to a different operator, I had exactly same issue. I had to call them and ask for activation as by default LTE was disabled for whatever reason...Don't know if I am missing something or misread something, but I cannot seem to get a LTE connection at all? I also had issues with the fingerprint reader on deodexed ROM. That's why I reverted back to odexed. Remember what alexandr says about deodexed ROMsI just replaced fingerprint sensor in service, with stock (boj1 TSR) fingerprint worked well, but when i installed boj2 (deodexed) from here fingerprint stopped working again... is there something i should do with rom, because i doubt its broken again after 5 hours?
P.s. in *#0*# it says null where it suposet to say some version number of sensor.

I have got a problem with rom G900FXXU1POJ5_Deodexed_alexndr.zip or G900FXXU1BOJ2_Deodexed_alexndr.zip
When I try to write an sms I have got this error:Invalid recipient. Unable to add ths recipient. The recipient's number is not valid.
It seems to be linked to "country calling codes" (i.e. +39,+1,etc etc)
In odex rom there is no problem
Could you please help me?
For me it is really important.
