Hello, I have your plugin by buying Qode Bridge theme, where it was included. I’ve updated my websites to SR7 engine and my issue is that the background color in the slideshow area, which is visible before the first slide is drawn, is changed from white to black. This is is disturbing, since my websites have a white background overall. Before the first slide is displayed, now I can see a black rectangle for a few seconds, instead of the original white color.

I also noticed, that I have to wait about 1 second more time to see the first slide with the SR7 engine, thus I can see this black rectangle for a longer time. I did not find any option, where I could change these values in the slideshow editor.

Thank you for reaching out. The feature you’re referring to is the Module Background color, and you can adjust it in the slider Module General Options. Navigate to Layout > Module Background > BG Color. From there, you can choose transparent, white, or any other color you prefer.

just found it before you posted the solution. I tried it earlier, too and I did not understand, why it did not work. The background color in Module Background was white (#ffffff), actually!!! That’s why it is white in SR6. Then in SR7 I tried to change it to black, save it, then back to white, then it worked! It became white, finally! So this is actually a bug with the migration in some cases.

Perhaps a Release Plan would help your user experience. It is great the development is fast and furious, but it has been unwieldy.
I also notice that in the release notes, everything is listed as a Bug Fixes, and yet, PatchStack has been identifying Security Vulnerabilities. Can you please include these as well.

I’m really loving how Slider Revolution is running on the SR7 Engine. I’m currently using the Masonry Gallery Carousel as my landing page to showcase some of my work and I noticed before you updated the engine, the carousel wouldn’t scale correctly on Monitors larger than 27 inches. But once I updated to the SR7 engine, it not only scaled properly it was loading much faster. However I’ve noticed a quick, when I mouse over some of the images they’ll transition to a solid grey color before they show the caption overlay and image. Others don’t have that problem and transition to the overlay smoothly. Is anyone experiencing this issue?

Latest version (Version 6.7.2 11th April 2024) broke my site. Refused to execute script from ’/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/libs/three.min.js?ver=6.7.2’ because its MIME type (‘text/html’) is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.

I think the issue is with the Code Canyon down the file. The zip file is missing files that were previously included (e.g. three.min.js).

Reading the comments about virus detected in the installation makes me a bit concerned of updating right now. Has this been addressed in version 6.7.1?

the mentioned detection was a false positive from Windows Defender and addressed with the 6.7.1 Update, if your Windows Defender is up to date, this should also no longer popup.
Either way as this is a false positive and our plugin was tested by external companies for their security. It is safe for you to update to the latest version.

Is it possible to add a portrait video? I’m using the “Project Carousel Template.” The only aspect ratio for video is 16:9 and 4:3. How do I adjust the video to match the portrait image ratio? And should I use an HTML5 or YouTube video for the best results? Thanks.
