Mel B’s estranged hubby Stephen Belafonte has drunken meltdown at their LA restaurant after former Spice Girl files for divorce
MEL B’s marriage split is already getting messy – for her soon-to-be ex- husband STEPHEN BELAFONTE.
Less than 48 hours after the former SCARY SPICE — who stepped out for the first time without her wedding ring yesterday — filed for divorce from the US film producer, he was having a drunken meltdown in his and Mel’s LA restaurant.
I’m told Stephen stunned customers at the Serafina Sunset eatery by downing straight vodkas before firing off a series of expletive-filled rants.
He snapped at one diner who asked how he was coping, replying: “I’ve felt f***ing better!”
Mel was wearing her wedding ring when the divorce news broke on Monday — but had ditched it while out in LA yesterday.
The couple’s split, after a turbulent ten-year marriage, was certainly on the cards.
Neighbours have now told how the pair had blazing rows over a mystery man in the months before.
Of one recent shouting match in the back garden of their LA mansion, a source said: “He was obsessed with her phone and asking, ‘Why is he calling you back?’

“You could hear him saying: ‘Why’s he calling? Why’s he texting?’
“It sounded like he was looking at her phone. It was just really loud. It sounded like jealousy or paranoia.”
Stephen’s restaurant rage on Tuesday night was not much better.
One source told how customers were so unnerved by his “intimidating” antics that waiters had to apologise.
The onlooker revealed: “Stephen turned up at 9pm and headed straight for the bar with a friend.
"The barman was filling him up with glass after glass of neat vodka and he was swearing his head off, while in a very loud conversation.
A waitress apologised for Stephen’s behaviour and said he had been drowning his sorrows for weeks
“A lot of customers nearby looked shocked and uncomfortable but he just looked like he couldn’t care less.
“When someone then approached him to ask how he was, he said: ‘I’ve been f***ing better!’
When another complimented him on the restaurant, he bowled up to them and said: ‘Go buy yourself a f***ing drink then.’
“One customer was spoken to so rudely that a waitress apologised for Stephen’s behaviour and said he had been drowning his sorrows for weeks, and since news of the divorce broke his temper had become twice as bad.”
Another onlooker said Stephen was “obliterated” by the time he left the venue at 11.30pm.
Mel B filed for divorce on Monday.

After all these years there is one lesson Stephen should surely have learned — to never mess with Scary Spice.

LOUIS TOMLINSON has emerged for the first time since his arrest earlier this month following an airport brawl.
The 1D singer took girlfriend Eleanor Calder to watch JAMES ARTHUR play London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Tuesday night.
Other celebs in the crowd included NICOLE SCHERZINGER, JAHMENE DOUGLAS and NOAH CYRUS, who popped along after her visit to Bizarre HQ.
Louis is due in court in LA next week, where he will find out whether he faces any action over his fracas with a photographer at LAX this month.

ED SHEERAN has given the team behind girl group TLC’s 1999 hit No Scrubs a writing credit on his No1 single Shape of You.
Kandi Burruss, Tameka Cottle and producer Kevin Briggs will now receive royalties for the track – written by Ed, JOHNNY McDAID and STEVE MAC – which has been at the top of the charts for ten weeks.
Fans pointed out the similarities between the songs after its release.

In Paris this month he hid among dirty sheets to get out of his hotel.
A source revealed: “Hundreds of fans were outside.
"He had to hide in a laundry cart which was wheeled over to a van that took him to the studio.”
The song, Still Got Time, features rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR and will be out tomorrow.
