On Saturday they were both at the third Gold Meets Golden celebration at Equinox in West Los Angeles.
And on Sunday, Katie Holmes posted an Instagram snap of herself and former Olympic gold medal gymnast Nadia Comaneci hanging out together.
The photo showed the couple lying on their sides, head to toe, on a wooden table each with one leg stretched above them, creating a V.

Both appeared to be in regular clothing rather than gymwear, with the 36-year-old actress in a black sweater and ripped blue jeans, while Nadia was dressed in black.
The Romanian athlete stole hearts around the world when she won three golds at the 1976 Montreal Summer Olympics including earning a perfect 10 for her floor routine when she was just 14.
She defected to the U.S. in 1989 and moved to Canada. Nadia has been married to former American gymnast Bart Conner since 1996.

Now 53, she looked just as limber as her much younger friend.

Gold Meets Gold is a benefit where actors, athletes and Olympians came together to celebrate the Hollywood awards season and the Special Olympics World Games being held in Los Angeles in July.

The fundraiser helps the World Games' Support an Athlete program, which raises money to assist the 7,000 athletes pay for their stay in California.
On Saturday Katie donned a casual denim jacket and dark jeans for the event.
The Batman Begins actress added a bit of height with a pair of suede ankle boots while highlighting her slender waistline with a leather belt.

Katie let her hair float down freely and finished off her look with a patterned black scarf.
Katie was recently seen filming the hit Showtime series Ray Donovan in Pasadena, which stars Liev Schreiber as the titular Ray.
The star portrays Paige, a calculating businesswoman who makes use of Ray's 'fixer' practice.

While new episodes of Ray Donovan will begin airing in the summer, Katie will also be heading back to the big screen in the upcoming romantic drama Mania Days.

Meanwhile, the mother of eight-year-old Suri, was most recently seen in 2014 teen drama, The Giver.
