Elon Musk denied entry into A-list Met Gala party

As Anna Wintour, Taylor Swift, Ivanka Trump, Madonna and Jared Leto breezed into the A-list Met Gala afterparty at the Top of the Standard, Tesla tech mogul Elon Musk was left out in the cold.

A source told Page Six that Musk — who’s worth $13 billion, according to Forbes — and his model mom, Maye, 68, who was just profiled in The Post, waited outside in the rain at 1 a.m. but didn’t make it past the velvet rope at the Apple-sponsored bash.

“Everyone was shouting and trying to help, saying, ‘He’s Elon Musk!’ And they were just like, ‘We don’t care, he’s not on the list,’” said a spy.

Ironically, tech reports have recently suggested Apple should acquire Musk’s Tesla Motors.

Inside the cozy club — where Jay Z was infamously attacked by his sister-in-law Solange in an elevator two years ago — Lady Gaga performed “Burning Down the House.”

Sources said that Uma Thurman looked upset after she was confronted at the bash by her off-again boyfriend, Standard hotelier André Balazs, who seemed annoyed that a younger man had flirted with her “in my place.” Thurman walked out and was seen leaving the venue with “Girls” star Andrew Rannells.

And Saoirse Ronan, who’s starring in “The Crucible,” was also unhappy. “She was having fun dancing,” but then was “sitting crying in the corner,” said our source. Actor Douglas Booth was trying to console her. Later, Ronan was seen downstairs in a lobby “crying” when Cara Delevingne’s socialite sister, Poppy, came to the rescue. “Poppy said, ‘I have a car waiting, let’s go,’ ” a spy said. Ronan’s rep didn’t get back to us.

Meanwhile, Bette Midler’s feud with the Kardashians “kontinued.” Spies said that at the gala, a guest led Kendall and Kylie Jenner up to the showbiz icon, who’s dissed the reality TV family repeatedly on Twitter. “Girls, girls, I get it,” Bette said. “I know I am persona non grata.” The Jenners “did not laugh at all,” we’re told. Maybe they don’t understand Latin.
