Watch: Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence Share Secrets and Blood in First ‘Serena’ Trailer
Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper have joined A-List forces once again, this time for Susanne Bier‘s new film “Serena.” Completed in 2012, this film has been on the back-burner for some time. Now, finally set to premiere at The London Film Festival in October, “Serena” chronicles the story of a struggling Timber mogul who falls in love (and business partnership) with a bold and intelligent Southern woman who cannot have children. Lawrence enters dark territory when her character plots to destroy her husband’s illegitimate son.
Filled with rustic sets and southern authenticity, the trailer highlights Lawrence and Cooper’s obvious on-screen chemistry, which is sure to draw in a wide audience. But it’s Bier’s dark energy and dramatic storytelling that will keep them around. ‘Serena’ opens in cinemas on November 27.
