Not water, this Belgian chocolate Ganesha will be immersed in milk and distributed among needy kids

A bakery in Ludhiana has prepared a 40 kg chocolate Ganesha that will be immersed in milk and turned into chocolate milkshake for poor children.

In what is being hailed as a welcome addition to the long list of eco-friendly Ganesha idols doing the rounds this Chaturthi, a bakery in Ludhiana has prepared a 40 kg chocolate Ganesha.

According to video posted on ZEE Punjab Haryana Himachal's YouTube channel, the idol is made of pure Belgian chocolate and is 3 feet long.

While eco-friendly Ganesha idols have become increasingly popular during the recent past, this one is quite a novelty.

Why? Well, because unlike other idols, this one will not be immersed into water but will in fact be turned into chocolate milkshake(by an immersion in milk) and distributed among poor children. Quite a delightful move, isn't it?

A combined effort of three chefs, the idol was reportedly prepared within a week's time.
