This.heh, I have no doubt that people are getting worse here BECAUSE they aren't posting here as much as they used to. I completely agree that they should hire someone to fix the PR mess that they have here.

the way they use it as a put down for an entire generation is shocking. Why would anyone listen to or give credence to someone who seeks to demonize an entire generation for political gain.
For the sake of argument, have you ever actually looked at the people they were describing?
"We demand you do this" "we deserve this but don't want to do anything for it" etc.
ie: people on unemployment but not actively looking for work whining about benefit cuts, college students complaining there's no jobs but refusing to work menial labor or fast food, etc.
Saw one story where this lady said she was desperate for work, the judge in the case offered for her to do lawn work for him for just above minimum wage. She quit a few days later whining it was too much work to pick weeds for that money, right after she practically begged for any kind of job for any kind of pay.
But it's an entirely different topic, summed up by "self centered kids growing up into self centered adults".3 -

I think its due to the fact that while testing is nice it never seems to fail that no matter HOW must testing you do internet "gremlins" ALWAY screw something up.
Don't believe me loot at beta reviews of PVP for this game, gold stars for everyone perfectly executed full scale battles.
Live comes out BAMN...L a ggggggg F es t. Couldn't be worse if you tried.
But testing showed it worked JUST fine. GO figure. Its actually just easier and faster to let the patch go live and fix spotted problems at that point.

At a minimum I'd expect 2 dev environments (1 for new content development and 1 for bug fixes/changes to game mechanics), and probably more than just 2 (it really depends on how many teams you have working on development - each team working on a separate piece should have their own environment).
I'd expect a minimum of 2 test environments too, so that they can test individual packages coming from the dev environments in an agile fashion without slowing the testing down with constant stopping as the testers wait for deployments.
After that there should be a single QA environment where they deploy consolidated packages of the individual packages coming from dev in order to ensure that they play nicely with each other, and that the intended deployment package (ie. the package that will become the patch) will deploy properly.
Then there's the PTS, then production.
I'd be surprised if there wasn't a production support environment that mimics the current production environment exactly as well (in fact, ideally there would be 2 PS environments - one for each mega-server so that they can duplicate the databases of the 2 mega-servers to allow proper production support).
That's the way I'd set it up anyway, and it certainly doesn't invalidate your point in any way (if anything, it reinforces it).

That being ignored on their official forums makes users angry.
If you have a look at previous threads where they've responded or got involved (the very, very few) you will see, generally, more constructive feedback and better discussions. But, mostly, they ignore their user base which then gets frustrated and we get this kind of stuff. Totally understandable IMO.
(hint: watch this thread from ZOS input onwards. It should improve :P)
