Frequently Asked Questions

We will add questions to this section as they are asked...

Q.  Is there a discount for registering early?

A.  We do not offer a discount for registering early but you will receive a free event t-shirt with each paid pre-registration completed by 2/7/15.  If you register early and your car/truck is a 2012 or older, you can enter it in one of the judged classes where your car competes against itself.  You are also elgible for the "Best of" trophies where you compete against other entries.

Q.  If my Mustang is newer than a 2012, may I enter in the show?

A.  Absolutely!  You would simply enter it in the Popular Vote class.

Q.  I want to enter 2 cars, why do I need a separate e-mail address for each car?

A.  We have streamlined the registration system to accommodate the vast majority of participants who enter only one vehicle.  By making the change, we also can make sure that every vehicle registered online will receive a verification and notice.  Unfortunately, it does mean that every car registered does require a different email address.  If you want to register another vehicle, consider using a different family member’s address or take advantage of the many e-mail servers available, i.e. gmail, yahoo, hotmail, to use for the purpose of registering and receiving confirmation. Thank you for your understanding.

Q.  I have a business and would like to participate in the vendor area at the show.  Who do I contact?

A.  Vendor space is going very quickly.  If you are interested in vendor space, contact Matt Cannizaro at mfmcvend@gmail.com.

Q.  I would like to help prepare before and/or the day of the show.  Who should I contact?

A.  Great!  Contact one of the show committee members at roundup@midfloridamustangclub.com.  Someone will help you explore the opportunities and put you in contact with the individual area leader.

 Q.  I currently do not have a show quality Ford. or I will just be in the area on vacation and would like to come out and see the cars.  Is there a fee to walk through the show cars or the vendor area?

A.  The show will be held in the historic downtown area of Longwood.  It is open to all to come out and check out the cars, vendor area, food trucks, and other special areas & displays planned.  As with any car show, the cars displayed, with the exception of the Ford display in the vendor area, are all privately owned and cared for.  Spectators and other participants are not allowed to touch or enter any vehicles unless permission is specifically given to the spectator by the owner.

Q.  How do you know if your car is "show quality"?

A.  MFMC supports Mustang and Ford owners learning to care for and preserve their cars.  In judged classes your car competes against itself.  If it has one panel that is primer, another that is painted one color, and another panel painted another color, this is probably not the show for you.  But if your paint, top, and interior are something you can be proud of, chances are this is the show for you.  If you still are not sure, bring your car or truck to the MFMC General Meeting at the Winter Park Perkins on University & Forsyth on 1/7/15 or 2/4/15; the MFMC Fern Park/Casselberry Cruise-In at Arbys on 436 near Howell Branch Rd on 1/3/15 or 2/7/15 and talk with one of the MFMC members.  You can register for the show at the meeting or cruise-ins and be pre-registered too as long as space is available.
