: In an interactive session with the Delhi Jal Board’s (DJB) field-level functionaries and senior officials on Saturday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal commended the unit for its efforts.
Aimed at improving productivity and enhancing the work efficiency of DJB’s employees, who are the contact point for consumers as they bridge the gap between the consumers and the entity, Mr. Kejriwal advised them to cater to the consumer queries regarding the ongoing DJB schemes for smooth and transparent functioning.
Appreciating the hard work of the field functionaries, the Chief Minister said, “The meter readers are an important part of the DJB family as they are a link between the unit and its consumers. It is in this context that my address to them becomes more significant.”
Further, he highlighted the ongoing DJB schemes i.e. the Rebate Scheme, the New Water Connection Scheme and the mSeva Mobile Application, besides focusing on the fact that meter readers should explain their details to consumers and deliver the CM’s letter to them.
