11 of Our Favorite Fried Eggs

September 19, 2014

Have you ever put together a meal and found it to be a little, well, incomplete? Instead of putting on the Backstreet Boys tune and bemoaning your cooking skills, try the oldest trick in the book: Put an egg on it. Adding an egg to the mix makes things feel fuller and more put-together. The best way to eat an egg is fried: It's easy to cook and the runny yolk adds some pizzazz to the texture of your meal.

With a fried egg on top, toast earns sandwich status, sautéed rice becomes a meal in itself, salads become more than a side dish, and everything falls into place. Take inspiration from these fried egg dishes, and you'll never have an incomplete meal again.

I put chocolate chips in 95% of the things I make and am a strong proponent for lunch dessert.
