FAFSA = [Free Application for Federal Student Aid]

It is mandatory for you and your parent to complete the online FAFSA by Nov 1.

If you or your parent need help with this online application, we are having FAFSA Completion Workshops on Monday October 17 and Wednesday October 19. We will have FAFSA experts from Amandla and OneGoal on hand to answer any questions and guide you through the online form.

If you did not turn in the FAFSA planning worksheet, you MUST attend a workshop.

Students cannot receive a Financial Aid package (including free money in the form of need-based grants)  from a school unless they have completed the FAFSA.

Even if a parent has been out of work or has not filed taxes, they still need to complete the FAFSA.

Please bring the following to ensure accurate completion of the FAFSA:
Social Security numbers (student and parent)
Birthdates (parent and student)
 Income tax forms from 2015 (filed in April 2016)

FAFSA completion is mandatory in order to attend Prom on June 3rd, 2017.
If you complete your FAFSA by October 17, you will receive $10 off of your Prom ticket.
If you complete your FAFSA by November 1, you will receive $5 off of your Prom ticket.
If your parent cannot set an appointment with Mr Flaherty to complete the FAFSA by Nov 1, you will not receive any discount.
