Pebble has just announced a new version of their highly successful smartwatch, the new watch is called the Pebble Time.

Pebble Time includes a brand new design and for the first time ever a colour e-ink display allowing the Pebble to stay charged for up to a week.

The new Pebble Time is also thinner than the previous versions and includes a new microphone for quick voice replies to messages, and for taking notes.  The new watch is built of high quality materials with a stainless steel bezel and on face and a curved design to fit on your wrist more comfortably.

Pebble Time also introduces a brand new Operating System for the watch called Timeline.  The OS allows you to move through apps based on the notifications that they have presented in the past, or are going to in the future.  Its a pretty slick new way to move between content on a small screen.

This new Timeline OS also ensures the watch doesn’t try to be more than it should.  The Smartwatch is all about notification and making them easier to read and manage.  Its not intended to take over the function of your smartphone.

The Pebble Time is now available on Kickstarter for a limited time price of $160.  Tho the price will jump up to $200 soon and will also be available on the Pebble website soon.
