Polish Airports vol.3 EPWR is missing connection with the gates

Recommended Posts

Today i purchased Polish Airport's vol.3 for FS2004 because there was a Sale.

I also downloaded the update to v.1.8 and activated AES for these 3 airports.

But at EPWR at apron 2 the gates 8 to 12 are missing a part between the gates and the building.

Within AEShelp v.2.30 i did a resync/repair but that didn't work. Still the same problem.

I hope someone can help me.

Regards,

I can't imagine that i'm the only one with this problem.

I hope that a FS2004 Polish Airport vol.3 and AES user want to check his situation at this airport at gate A8 to A13.

Many thanks.

You are not the only one with this problem. It's the same for me since I purchased the scenery two weeks ago. I just didn't post it because you did it before.

So there is obviously nothing else to do for us than to wait for Oliver's next visit here in the forums as some other people do...

Jens, thanks for your reaction.

I've also sent e-mails to Aerosoft Support starting about 10 days ago but i only got some questions about my system and version of AES, but still no solution.

Indeed, you're right, we have to wait for Oliver. But it's very quiet around him last weeks!

Hello Oliver,

I saw you were back again here after 7 weeks. So i missed you.

Perhaps you want to look at my/our problem.

I've attached two pictures, one from EPWR with AES activated and one from EPWR without AES.

I had e-mail contact with Shaun via support, but he told me that you're the only one who can solve this.

I hope you've some time for an update.

Many thanks in advance.

When I have done this airport, all was fine. So there are two option possible:

1.) You have an older version of the airport then I used for the design

2.) I had the older version for the design and you have a newer version installed.

I will check, if option 2 is present and if so, I will correct it next release.

Have doublecheck this and could not reproduce this issue. AES based on the FS2004 Installer for PAv3 V1.0 provided by Aerosoft. Maybe there is a difference between the Aerosoft Version and the Version provided by Drzwiecki Design directly.

Oliver, i purchased Polish Airports vol.3 at april 4 via Simmarket and the installer was the PAv3_FS9.exe

Strange if there are two different installers. I will contact Drzewiecki Design about it.

I didn't do that before because i thought it was AES related.

I'll keep you informed.

Many thanks anyway.

Hi Jens,

I got a reaction from Stanislaw of Drzewiecki-Design and he wrote: I have already contacted Oliver, we will try to fix that.

That's good news, i think.

So,

here the workaround to make AES 2.30 compatible with the new FS9 Version of the Scenery in EPWR:

- Just copy the File DATA_0414.FSX to DATA_0414.DAT within the <FS9>\Aerosoft\AES\DATA Folder and restart the FS9, then the jetways fits.
Since Version 1.5, the layout of the scenery is the same as in FSX, so the FSX DAT file will fix the issue. In the next AES Verison I will include the support of the new Scenery versions automaticaly.

Hi Oliver,

And yes, that did the trick. Problem solved.

Many thanks again. Great service.

And i'm looking forward to v.2.31 of AES.

Hope it will be released soon.

Best regards,
