A comparison between the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L II USM and the Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 VC USD. The former a $2300 lens, the latter a $1300 lens. Both definitely worth to be compared. Matthew Gore (from lightandmatter) examines the differances betwen the Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 VC USD and the or the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L II USM in this well made 14 minutes video. He concludes that the Canon is a bit sharper, on the other hand the Tamron has image stabilization. Gore’s description:
