Now let me say a few things about myself, my name is Manny Neri I was born and raised in border city known as El Paso, Texas, I am a Mexican American veteran of the United States Air Force, I served four years from 2004-2008 upon leaving service I decided to finish my education and pursue my goals which leads us here to start one of my many goals. Often I find myself seeing that veterans that don't finish their education due to life or other factors and have a hard time transfering their skills to the civillian field struggle to find a career or even a decent earning job that can support themselves or even a family for that matter. So this is where I decided to start up my own company which is called Sun City Collectibles and will launch it's website with the proper funding to provide jobs for local unemployed veterans from my local community, as we grow I would like to mainly employ veterans that have a hard time finding work and also give back to the local veteran community by giving proceeds of Sun Citie Collectibles sales annually to charities that help to increase awareness and provide help to our veterans. The money raised from this campaign will be used for this:
Launch our website
Employ three to seven veterans
Inventory growth
Creation of the Veterans For Jobs charity
Fund which will be used for local El Paso area jobless veterans. Sun City Collectibles will have an acitve donation button on the website in which at anytime people will be able to donate for the employment of veterans and as we grow larger amounts shall be donated. I can also provide my DD-214 as proof of my service upon request. As a minority that lives in a border city with in which faces criticism from main stream media along with others sources it's time to shed light that not all people who come from an enviornment such as mine cannot or will not make a positive imact in their community.
