Panasonic made the debut at this year's Consumer Electronic Show (CES) by announcing a wide range of smart TVs. The Panasonic's Smart Viera HDTVs lineup includes 16 plasmas and 16 LEDs. The company also talked about the features of the Viera lineup.

The new features include 'My Home Screen', 'Swipe & Share 2.0', Touch Pen, Voice Guidance and Voice Interaction.

The My Home Screen offers a personalisation function that allows each user in the home to create their own personal home screen by giving them a quick access to the favourite content. The Swipe & Share 2.0 is aimed for streaming and sharing photo and video content with a smartphone/tablet device with the TV. The Touch Pen is a design feature that allows users to add their own writing to the photos on the screen and then transfer them back to the smart devices using optional Electronic Touch Pen accessory.

Voice Guidance is an accessibility function that uses text to speech functions to verbalise text content as it appears on the TV while the Voice Interaction allows users to say a key word into the Smart Viera Touch Pad and the search result will be displayed on the HDTV screen.

Panasonic has also joined Smart TV Alliance where it aims to work on the SDK with other members.

The company has also announced Bone Conduction Headphone that has a unique sound transmission. It uses cheekbones to deliver audio straight to your head. The company's new range of cameras will have Built-in WiFi that can be controlled with the special app on the smartphone.
