Russian PM against Erdogan: You are protecting ISIS!

Russia points to reckless and dangerous behavior on behalf of Turkey and there will be repercussions

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that some Turkish officials may have “direct financial interest” in the oil trade with ISIS terrorists. He said: “Turkey’s actions are de fact protection of the Islamic State. This is no surprise considering the information we have about directo financial interest of some
Turkish officials relating to the supply of oil products refined by plants controlled by ISIS.”
He pointed to the “reckless and criminal actions” of Turkish authorities that have led to a “dangerous escalations” in ties between Russia and NATO that cannot be justified by any interest.
In retaliation for Turkish action, Russia is considering the cancelation of several important projects planned with Turkey as well as barring Turkish businesses from the Russian market. In the future, Russia may scrap a gas pipeline project whose goal was to turn Turkey into a major transit hub for the Russian natural gas going to Europe and the construction of the country’s first nuclear plant.
Russia has already issued a recommendation that Russian citizens should avoid Turkey, citing terrorist threats. Several Russian tourist operators immediately responded by withdrawing tours to Turkey from the market.
