The Big Turkey has a lots of thoughts and I needed some place to collect these “thinkings”. Public postings roll off and thoughts are only as good as the way they are captured. So this web site is to be a place where these can reside without fear of loss. ** Doctrine — why are we turkeys — thinking about thinking — how do I value things — how will I measure success or failure. ** Methodology -- the process of job search -- what do I have to do -- what should I want to do. -- effectiveness & efficiency. ** Strategy -- the big picture -- what am I peddling? (UVE USP) what can I sell at what price? what is my roi? Where are my customers? What are my expectations? ** Tactics -- machine gun mass mailing, shotgun all in a some subset, rifle shots at key targets, pistol shots up close and personal. ** Technology -- internet, computers, manual methods, mail, fax, web, phones ** Reading List -- suggestions by others of things to consider ** Droppings -- my attempts at wisdom transfer FWIW, your mileage may vary, all free advice is just that!
