You've seen Mad Max: Fury Road right? How could you not, considering the nigh-immaculate reviews it's been getting in recent weeks? It really is every bit an action movie steeped in '80s action movie mayhem that's also — and quite consciously — a feminist deconstruction of those same '80 action movies. It's about strong women and women actually given the chance to be strong outside of tropes and stereotypes. It's the future, so, people have been finding ways to pay tribute to it any way they can.

Hey, so, is there literally a whole other thing about women overcoming stuff that's kind of awesome? Why, there sure is, friend! It's called Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Let's mash the two together and see what happens.

Don't worry. Well, YouTube user Albert Lopez probably saw that, considering the overarching theme of surviving unfathomable trauma in both efforts, mapping Mad Max's Furiosa and her band of sister wives atop the theme from Kimmy Schmidt made perfect sense. The "females are strong as hell" refrain just fits, made somehow more wonderful when you match the song's cheerfulness to the movie's sheer carnage. I wonder what would happen if the whole movie were like this...
