Bought this as part of a new computer assembled in October 2011.

Installation worked as expected with the card occupying the usual PCIe slot and leaving ample room in my case.

The product performs as expected for an Nvidia GPU of this generation with better than expected temperature under high load and great, but not silent noise emissions.
I am able to play recent titles such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim or Star Wars: The Old Republic (Beta) at maximum graphics settings with solid, vsynced 60fps+ at 1920x1200 and benchmarks indicate that my system performance is CPU bound in these games, meaning the GPU has additional room to grow.

It reads 7.9 on Windows performance index, which isn't surprising.

If you're looking for rock solid graphics performance in modern games at high, but not insane resolutions (triple monitor setups would run into Video memory issues with this card) and you don't want to spend cash on the premium for the ultra high end card (GTX 580+), I can absolutely recommend this GPU.

The gpu arrived ahead of time, extemely quick delivery!! I pluged it into my msiz68 with my new I72600k. You can imagine my excitement!! Turned it on ,no prob.Instaled drivers from the disk, then went nvidia site and updated to latest drivers, then reboot. While rebooting I noticed something very odd, my blacks were actually greys. I tride too fix this under personalize too no avail. I ran 3dmark11 and the score was just over 6000. This was good i thought cause the twin froz 111 6950 i have will only give scores on 3dmark11 just below 6000.. Figured it was better than the 6950 so didnt care about my blacks being so grey. Well this was fine untill the 8th day. I turned on my comp just like every other day but this time while windows was loading, there were tiny green sqiggly lines running across my screen... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not good!! Imediately i shut it down and swaped gpu lanes. Same result, green sqiggles all over the screen. Then i swaped for my 6950 and everything was perfect again. even my blacks were as black as black could be.I went to amazons website and followed all instructions for returning my broken 570. Amazon made it so easy and got my money back with a quickness. Thank you amazon. As for the msi 570, i will be ordering another. I dont think it was right from the begining and still benched higher than msi 6950. Hope the new one will be good to go. Cant wait to post a rewiew of a 570 that actually works!!! ( If your blacks are grey then send it back!!!!!!!!!!!)

great OC. plays BF3 max at 1080p with motion blur off and a little tweak. BF3 does use all of its memory though and im not happy with that. also the fans make a squeaking noise under certain loads. i would buy this over any other 570 brand though. so easy to OC and super stable. i would have rather have bought a 6970 but i couldnt find any twin frozr III's.

well atleast it does play every game at nearly max settings. and it was worth what i paid for it.

I'm running Battlefield 3 with all details in high, 1080p and it doesn't even sweat. I have not overclocked it as it is already overclocked from factory, and the coolers never went far from 55% speed. It has a lot of potential for overclocking. It's fast, cool, powerful and silent (unless you set the coolers to a fixed 100% speed, which turns it into a vacuum cleaner).

This is my review of the GTX 570 power edition. As the name suggests, this beast pushes. I use it for gaming and I get steady smooth framerates in every game. It's an ice cube. Never gets below 60 c when the fan speed is on auto. Super quiet, too. It was well worth my money.

In sli this card murders every game out there including Crysis on Max settings. Brought my futuremark score from 14500 with my ATI 4860 to 19500. The only issue with this card is the spacing. In sli these cards are to close to function properly on some motherboards. This is due to the fact that the screws holding the cooling system to the card are not flush with the back of the card and stick out about 2 or so cm past the back of the card. The problem with these screws is they physically touch the other card when put in sli on other boards and actually get caught in the fans keeping it from running porperly and causing really high temps. However there is a solution simply put a spacer between the cards to give them a little breathing room works like a charm and drops the temps 10-12C on each card. Card 1 runs at 41c idle - 62 under load, and card 2 runs at 36C idle- 52 under load. Finally almost forgot to mention it at after reaching 65% speed the fans make a horrible high pitched buzzing noise, but my fans have never had to go past 50% speed in order to maintain temps under 70C so i think this would only be an issue if your obsessed with low temps or OC the card which isnt really necessary.
