This webpage presents just one example of the Indy Land Bank (IndyLandBank) Scandal in Indianapolis Indiana. In this case, a landowner who lived next to a bank owned abandoned house (sitting for over 23+ years) wanted to purchase the rundown property. The Indy Land Bank had the house listed for sale. When the abutting homeowner asked about buying the property she was told by Reggie Walton and Carrie Baniszewski that she could bid on the property. She and a nonprofit bid on the home. The homeowner bid more and lost the bid for the Indy Land Bank property. When the abutting homeowner asked Reggie Walton and Carrie Baniszewski why the nonprofit, run by A and B, won the bid they would hide and not answer her question. A public official allowed the nonprofit to sell the home to an individual.

How can they still be allowed to work on this house? They have been "working" on it for
over 2 years. I thought landbank activites were suspended, yet THEY are still "working"
on the house. How did they get these permits? This house was to be demolished. No "real"
engineers have worked on this house, only "jack-leg" handymen. We had a structual
contractor look over it and he said the house needs to be demolished. Reggie just sold
this house to Doris, he did not care if it was safe or not. It needs to be torn down, it's not safe.

UPDATE:

The city put a stop order on the 3936 Guilford Ave Indy Land Bank property...

But they are still working on the house.

Here is the stop order:

Here is video of them (van plates: UTR663) working on the house after 06/07/2013:

They even planted ornamental grass, lol:

They are ignoring the stop order. This is a violation.
