Android 2.3.7 - Cyanogen Mod 7.1.0 For Galaxy GIO With Xperia Moddings
Based on phiexz's ROM

CM BASED

Working:
Everything which working in phiexz's ROM was working here.

EXTRAS:

TIMESCAPE
Xperia ARC Launcher
Bravia Engine
Sony Ericsson Timescape Font

I am not responsible for any damage to your phone or brick your gio.

Install:

0. Install CWM recovery. (skip it if u have)
1. Place the zip to your phone
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Full Wipe!
4. Install zip.
5. Full wipe again!
6. Reboot.

Google apps:

- Download it from here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Latest_Version/Google_Apps
- Download latest version for cyanogenMod 7
- Flash it from cwm recovery

Download THIS
Copy to the root of your SD
Boot into the recovery
Mount System
Flash the Zip

a2sd. but u can enable s2e the same way like in phiexz's rom

Looks amazing!!
Any screenshots of the apps page? (what u see after u click apps button on "desktop".
Does it show the wallpaper there also? (i dont like that, that's why I ditched CM)

Do you need to have CM7 installed? I get "can't mount /system" when I try to restore.

opsz. yes u must have CM firstli

if don't have it. just flash this first -> phiexz 's rom

what about compayibility problems?
screen/buttons
gps/proximity/acceletation
lights/microphone/sound
wifi-umts/2g/calling

video acceleration???
different memory layou
boot behavior
keyboard key size

did i forget some stuff?

It could be interresting to have an installable GioDrivers.zip containing most
recent drivers to hardware.
Yhis would allow improvements to reach the fast modifying phones faster

When it boots I get a FC on Twitter and when I log in with Timescape on facebook I also get FC (yes, I did install the zip separately)
And how do I get my GAPPS back? I installed the zip but I don't see any of the apps after logging in.

Pity, it's very unstable for me.
Lot's of FC (especially the sony.homescreen thing..), GPS doesn't work for me either.
Nice try though, looks awesome! Real pity doesn't work for me.

i think its no need as long u have the cwm recovery v2 from phiexz and ext4 partition.

I love this rom, too bad I can't get it stable.

After a lot of tweaking it finally worked OK, but when I rebooted all the apps I installed on SD card were gone.
It made me freak out a little after putting so much time in getting it the way I wanted it.
I will definitely go back to this rom once stable (for me).

Most FC came from sonyericsson.twitter.livefeed (or something) and timescape didn't work at all.

List of issues I ran into:
Several FC: Timescape, home plug in from sony-ericsson
Disappearing apps after reboot from apps-page, no way to get them back.
Installed everything on phone, even when setting was set to "install apps to external"

Aside from that, this was an amazing rom. Love the Sony-Ericsson home tool.
