Tony was born in Bermondsey, London in 1960, although he accepts this is may be of little interest to you. He has always dreamed of being a writer, but for years put this down to the cheese. He is the author of many academic papers and has written some of the most riveting articles on pain behind the kneecap you could ever wish to read. The Last Train Home is his first novel. It is a product of his desire to write a captivating seasonal mystery that is free from whimsy and cloying sentimentality, and is not afraid of a little dark to go with the light.

Tony lives just south of Chichester, UK, with his partner Lucy and 3 children, all of whom think he should get out more. He is busy writing a comic novel and a second Christmas book, The Feast of Stephen.

Written by a licensed massage therapist with many years of experience, this book is essential for anyone who is suffering from neck pain and wants to discover the root cause and how to fix it. As an author who writes full-time I deal with all sorts of aches and pains, from carpal tunnel syndrome to chronic back pain and neck stiffness. I see a massage therapist twice a month and he recommended that I buy this book and incorporate some of the stretches into my daily routine. I decided to give it a shot and the results have been amazing. Now, whenever I start to feel pain or tightness in my neck I do these stretches and start to feel relief almost immediately. I still have my bad days, but they are becoming increasingly rare. I would recommend buying this book and trying these stretches first before spending your time and money on specialists.

I have had issues with neck pain off and on for years now so when I saw this book I decided to check it out. I'm glad that I got it. This book is a very practical guide that is aimed at one goal - to show you what to do to relieve neck pain, plain and simple. The information is very helpful and I plan on trying many of the tips right away to get rid of my own neck pain.

I have had neck pain for quite a few years now... the Doc told me that I have scar tissue around my spine in my neck. Most likely from being reckless in my youth.

So far I am doing the exercises and I can tell the tension is not as "tight" as it was previously. I really do feel that by continuing with the exercise that over time I will get more mobility back. It is already helping quite a bit.

I have also noticed that it isn't as painful either. Very helpful book for anyone who is having neck pain and wants relief!

This is one of the books I bought because I have chronic pain from using the computer for 30 years and doing close craftsman work where my neck is bent to see tiny details of what I'm doing. This methods in this book didn't really help, sorry to say.
You want to use the McKENZIE METHOD. The book ""7 Steps To A Pain Free Life-How to Rapidly Relieve Back and Neck Pain using the McKenzie Method" worked miracles for me. It immediately identified WHY at the end of 4 days of work my neck would make me feel horrible to the point of almost being nauseous and I would have to quit working. The exercises in that book seemed strange but the more I did them the more I saw the logic behind them. I am now almost completely free of neck problems as long as I do the maintenance exercises one or twice a day which only take a few short minutes and are stupid simple to do.

I have always suffered from neck pain and I have visited the chiropractor and acupuncturist for relief, I do daily yoga exercises to relieve the tension and I have to say that the exercises that the author includes in this book have proved very useful. I now include several of the neck exercises in my daily routine. Guess what? i have noticed a change in some of the soreness I experience. I highly recommend this book if you find you are a chronic neck pain suffer.

This is a practical and easy to use book. It gives clear instructions for a program to deal with neck pain. I have found that following this program is something that I can incorporate easily into brief moments of my life - reminded occasionally by a stiffness from sitting in front of the computer or a tightness from stress. Gradually I am noticing some positive changes.
I would recommend this short book because it is so accessible.

Been having problems with neck pain for some time and purchased this book. When I showed the exercises to my physical therapist he had nothing additional to add. Very easy read and helpful approach to addressing neck pain.

This is a short but very useful book. I sit at a computer many hours a day and many times I feel tense and stiff with out even realizing it. This book walks you through why, and how alleviate it.
I did each exercise as I read along and found by the end of the book I was feeling much more relaxed and comfortable. I plan to keep this near by and use it often.

A total waste of money. The stress factor was greatly disproportionate to the content. No substance to the content

It is a very short and quick to read book that gives you 9 different exercises for the stress relief on the neck. It was worth buying and reading it, as it did not take much of my time and gave me one more opinion in my search for the "cure" of my endless neck pain.

Pretty good book that helped me reduce some pain around the neck. Didn't hit 5 stars as $5.38 is a bit expensive for a 30-page book.
