Worcester Artist Group and Technocopia are collaborating to build one of the largest makerspace/ arts collectives in the country.
This survey is a non-binding statement of interest that will allow us to plan out our rental offerings to best serve our community as we plan to acquire a new 85,000 square foot facility in Worcester, MA.
Completing this survey will grant you first notice of our spaces being available for lease when the time comes to solicit for renters. Submitting this survey is not a guarantee of available space; if there is more demand than spaces available, rental units will be assigned as a result of an application and review process.

Renting space comes with the following benefits:
- 24-hour proximity card access to (at the very least) equipment for precision machining, sculptural metalworking, multiple types of welding, woodworking, electronics/robotics assembly, sewing, bicycle repair, and high-tech computerized manufacturing such as CNC mills, a laser cutter and a CNC plasma cutter
- Wireless internet access
- 30-day tenant-at-will lease (longer leases can be negotiated)
- Air conditioning and heating
- On-site, off-street parking lot
- First floor with leveled concrete flooring
- Access to 4 tractor-trailer loading docks, 2 drive-in bays & a freight elevator
- Options for electrical service in the rental unit (either dedicated or shared with others)
- Dumpster outside for trash pickup

We plan on offering the following programs for renting space at Pullman St.
- All rental spaces require some form of membership, with priority given to 24-hour access memberships.
- 24-hour access memberships for individuals cost either $75/month for general admission or $60/month for a limited number of subsidized memberships (i.e. for students, unemployed or low-income members, etc.).
- 24-hour access institutional memberships ($100/month) are available to companies that would like to provide their employees with access to our tools, either as a benefit, or in support of their own mission. Access cards can be used by anyone the member institution wishes; unlike our individual memberships, they do not have to be linked to one specific person.
- Limited membership options: (The times are your available arrival times. We don't kick people out)
              Weekend Warrior $35, Sat-Sun 10am - 10pm
              Workweek crafter $50, Mon - Fri 9am - 7pm
              Insomniac inventor $60, Mon - Fri 6pm - 12pm, weekend 10am - 12pm
              Standard maker   $75, 7 days a week 24 hr access
- Rental workspace comes in 50 ($40/month), 100 ($60/month), and 250 square foot ($175/month) lots. Other sizes can be negotiated.
- Rental storage space (15 square feet, $10/month) is also available.

How many square feet of common shop workspace are you interested in renting from us? Common shop space is $.50/ square foot and will be subsidized by membership dues... This question is mostly for those of you who would like to transplant their existing shop or want to build/share a shop with the community.
