Thank you for supporting the recognition of excellence in mentorship! The GPSA Outstanding Mentor Award was designed to recognize and foster excellence in graduate mentorship across all disciplines on all ASU campuses. It was also created to highlight how graduate students impact the broader community.
Who is Eligible?
Any currently enrolled graduate student may be nominated.
Qualifying mentoring includes work with undergraduate students, graduate students, or community members, completed on a volunteer (i.e., unpaid) basis and concurrent with enrollment as a graduate or professional student at ASU. Mentoring through formal programs (e.g., Shades, Big Brothers Big Sisters) qualifies, as does independent mentoring.
Mentoring that is financially compensated or a requirement of a paid assistantship or other employment is ineligible for this award.

2) Graduate students
3) Community members/Organizers
