EMLT - Call for presentations - Winter 2015
Our Winter meeting of the East Midlands Learning Technologists’ group and the first for 2015 is due to take place on the 6th January at Nottingham Trent University on...

Flipping Classrooms!
Turning everything on it's head can be a challenge. Trying a completely different way of teaching via flipped learning provides a wealth of opportunities and issues. So come join us in the new Staff Development Suite at NTU on 6th Jan, 12 pm - 4 pm for the next EMLT event on flipped learning. And as we're focussing on flipped learning- yes you've guessed it, we're flipping the event as well.

We'd still like some Pecha Kucha sessions, presentations from our community - 6 minute presentations with images - where you tell us about your experiments with flipped learning so please complete the form if you're happy to present, but...

We're going to be asking you to do some prep work ahead of the day as per the flipped classroom. So sign-up soon and one of the members of EMLT will be in touch with your flipped assignment for the day.

Closing date for submitting ideas is 5pm on Friday 5th December 2014.

If you have not yet booked a place, please complete the form on Eventbrite, you will need to enter the password to get in. This is: em1t  (emlt with the L replaced by a number 1).  The booking form is at http://emltwinter15.eventbrite.co.uk

Food and drink will be available on arrival at 12:00 at Staff Development Suite, NTU - details to follow.

A map for the campus can be found on their website but can be downloaded from this link too:
