On behalf of Mercedes ISD, I would like to invite you to our first annual Queen City Marching Festival to be held on October 8, 2016.  Cost is $400 per entry.  Judges comments and a DVD recording will be provided.  We hope to make your day as productive and as helpful as possible.

Judges are Dr. Scott Jones, Mr. Roger Olivares, Rolando Zapata, Mr. Mike Stone, Colorguard/Visual Judge, and  Mr. Armando Medrano, Percussion Judge.

Trophies to be awarded in each division include First, Second, Third Place, Best Percussion and Best Colorguard.

The Mercedes Tiger Stadium, opened in Fall of 2015, provides everyone of the 4000 home side seats an unobstructed view of the field.  All parking lots around the stadium are paved and able to accommodate all busses, trucks, and spectators.  A vehicle service ramp on the visitor side allows the Front Ensemble, Guard, and props (including carts, wagons and trailers) to unload and move into and out of the stadium with ease avoiding curbs, gates, and spectator traffic.  Concession stands located on either side of the grandstands will be able to serve you, your band, and your parents in a timely manner so as to not miss any action on the field.  There will be plenty of water available for your band in the warm up area, in the equipment unloading area, and to a cool down area when you exit the field.
