For the last few years at Web Design Day we’ve been adding 10 minute lightning talks to our schedule. It’s a great way to break up the day between longer talks, and it’s a perfect opportunity for you to get on stage and share something you’re passionate about.
This call is for 10 minute talks.
We are accepting submissions from Jan 22, 2016 until Feb 19th, 2016.

We’re looking for proposals that are concise and focused on a topic related to web design. This could be an interesting technique, sharing something you’ve learned, best practices, interesting facts, or anything else of interest that can easily fit into 10 mins.
We are especially interested in putting new faces on stage. Don’t let a lack of previous experience stop you from submitting. We want to hear from you! And we're offering speaker coaching to help you do you best.
We’re also interested in putting local and regional voices on stage. Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas are full of talented web designers. We want to see you on stage!
WHAT WE OFFER:
All selected lightning talk speakers receive:
- An invite to the speaker dinner with all our speakers
- Free admission to the conference and all the Friday events
- Speaker coaching sessions and help preparing your talk
- Funding towards travel costs if needed
