Agree to basic Bottom Up Grassroots Framework? Terms of Involement
Do you agree to use basic Bottom Up Participatory Democracy Structure while you are on the call? Instead of starting from scratch, we are buildilng these conference calls using existing Movement structures and Grassroots organizing methods. For example instead of an organization, we are a network of networks within the Bernie Movement so Organizations and NEtworks can be agenda items, and break out groups, and we will keep most groups down to about 10 people for maximum participation. For decision making, we are going to start with basic 50%+1 votes, while striving for consensus, and representation with 50% of regional locations represented for any offical decision. Additionally we will run our meetings as open democratic, and fully transparent with recordings and notes that are accessable by anyone. No one can block anyone else from doing their own project, but we will priorities and support the projects and actities that have the most interest. Its pretty basic and simple for people who already have experience with Participatory Democracy.
