Volunteers must be 18 years old or older

Proof of a tetanus vaccination within the last 10 years is required for all interns and volunteers.

Proof of a rabies vaccination within the last 2 years is required for all interns and volunteers wishing to work with rabies vector species (Raccoons, Foxes, Coyotes, Bats, Weasels, etc.)

Volunteering is seasonal, usually lasting from about May through September. Volunteers are generally contacted just before May, regardless of when the application is submitted.

You will be expected to work at least 1 weekly shift for 8 consecutive weeks. We ask that you choose a shift that you can cover regularly. Each shift is approximately 2 hours.
