My Story is here to allow people to express themselves and find support from their community. It is a forum for people to share their personal narratives as well as respectfully learn about others’. Also, some of the material being shared may be considered offensive or disturbing. Reader Discretion is Advised.

Any submissions containing violent descriptions, offensive or explicit language, and/or disrespectful commentary towards another person or group will not be tolerated and will not be published on the website. Also please keep in mind that this is a story forum, not a space to promote, advertise, or share any other non story formatted writing. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.

We receive many stories, and as a result, we can not guarantee that everything that is sent in will be published. We will, however, try to get each submission in, assuming it is appropriate and does not violate any of our principles. Because we review all submissions and it takes a significant amount of time, even if your story is deemed appropriate, there may be a delay between submission and posting.
