Module 1: Beginners Guide to Wood Carving Techniques
Module 2: Relief Carving / Carving the Round Techiniques.

Beginner's Wood Carving Techniques (Module 1)

2 x G Melina Wood for practice carving

No prior experience in woodcarving is necessary.

Activities:

Handling the tool
Carving exercises (simple lines and curves engraving) with 3 different tools
Free-hand using carving exercises

Relief Carving / Carving the Round Techniques (Module 2)

3 x blocks of G Melina wood
*Carving tools

Basic wood carving class required.

Module 2: Carving the Round Techiniques
Introduction

Activities:

Exercises on carving basic shapes out of the block
Step by step process of carving out a leaf.

****LIMITED TO A TOTAL OF 18 SLOTS ONLY (beginner and advanced combined)

*** There must be a minimum of 10 students to attend the class. If less than 10 students sign up, class will be dissolved and students will get full reimbursement.
