Congratulations! You have been selected to be a peer mentor next year.  Our peer mentor program has been a part of CMS for over 15 years, and we are excited that you want to be part of this community building group.  The peer mentor program matches mentors with 6th graders, and you will provide guidance and friendship to your mentee throughout the entire school year.    

As a mentor, you will meet with your 6th grade mentee weekly, during homeroom. During these meetings, you can talk, play games, and generally get to know each other. Sometimes there will be breakfast snack foods to munch on as you meet! There will also be opportunities for you and your mentee to do an occasional after  school activities, as well - while these are not mandatory, they have become nice opportunities to relax and have fun with your mentee outside of the homeroom meetings.

If you are a new mentor, you are required to participate in a Peer Mentor Training program. This year's training will be held August 25 and 26 from 9am to 12:00pm.  Please confirm your acceptance into the program and your availability for training in the spaces below.
